The Sport Business is working with para-athlete Carly Tait as she prepares for the most important phase of her career.
The T34 wheelchair racer from Wythenshawe is gearing up for the World Para-Athletic Championships in London, which start on July 14. Carly competed for Great Britain at the Rio Olympics in the summer of 2016 after her employer the Co Op granted her paid leave to concentrate on achieving her goal.
Carly was a self-confessed coach potato who took up sport after being inspired by the London 2012 Game. She’s now helping to get her positive message across to schoolchildren and other organisations as a Co Op ambassador – a role we’re assisting with.
