Rugby World Cup…

Rugby World Cup...It’s a huge year for rugby in England and the RFU is providing significant support and guidance to its clubs to ensure that they can make the most of this opportunity.

This support provides club boards and volunteers with skills and information to organise high quality events and to look at how they can increase their commercial revenues.

The RFU has engaged The Sport Business to deliver workshops across the north and midlands as part of its Natwest RugbyForce.  Alex Thompson, RFU Club Management & Governance Manager said:  “It is critical that clubs are fully aware of how they can maximise commercial opportunities in order to generate the revenue they need to improve their facilities and programmes.

“This is the objective of our support and The Sport Business has been a key part of that.”
